Our Staff
PPC is a family owned and operated prosthetic and orthotic facility. The following are profiles of our staff members:
Sherrie Anderson, CP, LPO – Practitioner
Sherrie graduated in 1993 with a BS in Prosthetic and Orthotics from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Allied Health Services Program. She completed her residency at the prosthetic / orthotic clinic housed at Southwestern. She became ABC certified in 1994 and remained at Southwestern as a faculty member until 1996. Sherrie and her husband started PPC in Longview, TX in 1997 and moved the practice to Nacogdoches, TX in 1998.
Sherrie strives to provide the highest quality comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care. She makes a special effort to remain educated in the latest technological advancements in prosthetics and orthotics so her patients can benefit from the exciting progress in these fields. Sherrie has completed many post-graduate courses including Otto Bock's C-Leg microprocessor knee, Harmony and E-Pulse vacuum assisted suspension systems, M.A.S. socket design, Ossur's Proprio Foot microprocessor foot/ankle, Otto Bock's upper extremity myoelectric and Dynamic Arm microprocessor hands and elbows, SureStep's pediatric dynamic stabilizing system, Allard's SWASH pediatric hip orthosis, Cascade DAFO's pediatric dynamic stabilization bracing, Amoena's mastectomy fitter course and others.
Sherrie and Eddy have two children. Cole is 15 years old and enjoys baseball, football, basketball, hunting and fishing. Claire is 9 years old. She spends her time swimming, dancing and playing softball and basketball. Eddy and Sherrie are both very involved with church, as well their children's school and extra-curricular activities.
David Holt, CP, LP
David is a graduate of Northwestern University's Prosthetics Program and certified in Prosthetics by the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics (A.B.C). He is certified in the Otto Bock C-Leg microprocessor knee system, the I-Limb microprocessor hand for upper extremity application and recent advancements in current vacuum assisted suspension systems including Harmony, Limb Logic, and E-Pulse. David constantly keeps apprised of advancements in the field to make these improvements available to patients of PPC.
David and his wife have twin girls who are involved in voice, track, 4H, and other activities, keeping everyone busy. He and his wife are concerned with the spiritual as well as academic aspect of their girls' development. David is very excited to be associated with a prosthetic and orthotic practice that places the needs of the patient as the utmost priority.
Eddy Anderson, CPA – Business Manager
Eddy is a native East Texan who graduated from Texas A&M University in 1985. He began his career working for a large public accounting firm in the Dallas area for three years. Later, while still in Dallas, he spent eight years as a Regional Accounting Controller for a national real estate development and management company. In 1997, he began working as a Senior Auditor for a large East Texas manufacturing company while also functioning as Business Manager for PPC. Beginning in 2007, Eddy left the auditor position to work full-time as PPC’s Business Manager.
Tracye Brittain – Office Administrator
Tracye began working for PPC in 2001. She and her husband are from La Marque, Texas and moved to Nacogdoches 25 years ago. They have two sons and a daughter. Prior to joining PPC, Tracye worked for a local orthopedist for many years, as well as an internist, and a clinical psychologist. She has spent many years volunteering and serving as PTA president at various schools, and served on the State PTA Board as a District President. She is currently volunteering for CASA of Nacogdoches as a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
